Keeping Up with the Evolving World of Science

Educating students on complicated and evolving biochemical topics, such as stem cell research and vaccinations, presents a real challenge for science teachers. But thanks to a new web-based gallery, teachers have access to a wealth of free resources.

With a two-year grant of $298,000 from the Monsanto Fund, the United Kingdom’s Biochemical Society has developed www.SciberBrain.org — an online resource of accurate, up-to-date information and activities on cutting-edge science topics often poorly understood by the public.

SciberBrain.org provides teachers with subject curriculum, discussion guides, slideshows, games and more. Plus, the site offers constant updates via an FAQ area with answers supplied by experts and a forum for teachers to share feedback and ideas.
